    What a great plugin!

    In case anyone asks, ….

    It won’t work/hide existing widgets, however …

If you add a ‘new’ widget, it will activate all the widgets and hide them as required

There is only one small issue I found …

When you ‘hide’ all the widgets in the sidebar, the page does not expand to that available space on tablets.

Other than that, as I said, great plugin!

    Hi @rik0399,

In connection to, “When you ‘hide’ all the widgets in the sidebar, the page does not expand to that available space on tablets.” I regret to let you know that this is due to the theme settings. Meanwhile, I have added this one to be considered by our developers for future releases.

    Thank you,
    Mej

This is my question. I have a site that has around 60 widgets, with a front page that has at least 20. I am using 2 obsolete plugins to be able to side/show in different areas/pages/ sidebars & add CSS style to each.

If I add this plugin, will it read what is currently there and just add the hide/show drop down? Give me a place to add CSS?

    OR

Do I have to recreate everything in this plugin? [YIKES]

Obviously I still use the Classic Widgets.

Aloha @dragonsjaw, Naturally the widget options will integrate into the current widget. However, we noticed that due to conflict with other widget plugins, there is a need to disable the other widget plugins and re-save each widget one by one.

With regards to CSS, the widget options offer CSS for classes and IDs or use the available classes to a specific widget. For more information, please visit https://widget-options.com/features/custom-wordpress-widget-id-classes/
