Everything is working super great except our product images do not get imported. I have manually transferred over our images directory which I was not sure if we needed to do this or not, but the image url will not come with the SQl product transfer.
We also have a OSC sub image addon but I am not too concerned with that right now, just the main picture URL at least.

Thank you so much for your time,
    Chris

Hi, the problem with the images is that they may not be in the default directory of osCommerce “/ image”. I would need the url of your osCommerce to know which is the correct directory.

    Example:

your site \ images directory \ image file

I have added an update to the plugin to specify the directory of the images.

I see you updated the plugin to account for a different directory? So the images are in the images directory.. not image.
I should just add this to the new text field and it should be good to go?
    I am trying it now.

Thank you so much!! you are great!

Yes, the default directory is images, not image, I think I have written it wrong. I will correct it in the future.

But to clarify and leave doubts, better go to your oscommerce and you give in the browser with the mouse to right button> see image, and look at the URL and place the directory in the new field of the plugin.

For some reason it still is not working.. The website we are coming from is https://www.x2industries.com

It does say that it is successful as I am only going to 1000 products right now to test things and it says 81 successful but no image.

I have tried my ip address in the host information because we have a proxy server that protects the site, but even bypassing that with the direct server IP still will not grab the images for some reason, the files do not seem to be moving from the OSC site to the WOO site at all. Any other suggestion is greatly appreciated.

    In “osCommerce store URL”: https://www.x2industries.com

    In “Images directory”: images

    Are you using those parameters?

    Thread Starter cnrwholesale

    (@cnrwholesale)

Yes, that is all correct. All perimeters are accurate.

I can manually move the images and then if the product image url would at least carry over that would be ok as there are 12K images that I am not sure that this would even handle that? I was going to go slow and only do 500 to 1k products every hour or so but that does not want to work for me.

The problem seems then that the url https://www.x2industries.com/ is not accessible from your wordpress.

One solution would be to copy the oscoommerce images folder to the wordpress server and try to use the parameters like this:

“OsCommerce store URL”: localhost or the address of your wordpress

    In “Images directory”: images

Once the images have been imported you could delete that copied folder.

I ended up exporting the products via CSV file and then the WOOCOMMERCE importer did the rest, everything else worked GREAT thank you again for all your help. This saved me a ton of time.
