If you need a public-facing directory where users can add their own listings and pay you for them, but there isn’t the budget to hire a full-stack dev team to build such a system, GeoDirectory is a great middle-of-the-road solution that allows a high degree of customization.

Not only that, but their customer service is excellent. They respond to most emails right away.

There is even a feature built into AyeCode that lets their support staff temporary access to your site so they can troubleshoot or sometimes directly fix issues themselves. They are also up-front about limitations to their software and can recommend outside specialists or software that can help bridge any gaps for you.

Even though the software has a few limitations and has a bit of a learning curve, Id still recommend it for 90%+ of directory purposes
