Great Plugin But Can't Handle Large WP Site

  • This is a promising search plugin but it constantly times out on one of my sites that has 25,000 posts and growing. I hope the developers look into this.

    Hi,
    my website has 300 posts and Relevannsi’s database is:

    about 33.000 Records – Website has 62.000
    about 29MB data – Website has 40MB

    I would give 5 stars for its efficiency, but as regards data optimization…

    5 months have passed, and developers look like not to have solved this problem! I will just search another plugin…

    I’ll be the first to say that Relevanssi is not the correct tool for sites this big. I suggest Google Search or Swiftype.

    Marco, that’s not a problem, that’s a feature –?that’s just how Relevanssi works. If it didn’t have that data, it couldn’t provide the good results it provides. If space is a problem, external cloud-based search solution is the way to go.
