• Great Plugin for e-commerce solutions, But I have the following problem without any solution for more than 3 months

Erorr : Error in rendering Price in some of Variable Products in my store

I report these bugs in GitHub with ticket #36097 and also open a ticket for support in the forum with the following title

Why the product price not displayed in the product page when it is out of stock

I was hoping to solve this problem or get a response regarding its importance or a date to solve it

    Best Regards

  • Hi @fouadabuhattab,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

I took time to go through the forum thread as well as the bug report and was able to replicate the issue on my end.

I understand you’d like a fix to be released ASAP to address this issue. However, we cannot give you an ETA at this time. As you know, WooCommerce is an open-source software used by millions of people from across the world. Due to this, development decisions are prioritised based on the impact of the issue generally.

As this issue appears to be important to you due to your unique setup, it might be helpful to hire a developer to address it for you – See recommended WooExperts.

For clarification, most WooCommerce store owners typically hide out of stock products from the catalog and there are even code snippets to hide prices when products are out of stock as some users don’t see the essence of showing prices for out of stock products (Since product price may change when restocked due to market conditions)

I understand showing the prices is important to you due to the schema error, which begs the question of how a schema error is being returned for a product that’s hidden from the product page and categories as you’ve mentioned. (If the product isn’t available on your site, how’s it getting indexed?). I recommend checking that the Rankmath plugin isn’t submitting out of stock products to search engines via its sitemap, etc.

Circling back to the bug, you’ll get a notification when it’s prioritized.

I appreciate your understanding on the issue.

Thanks for your efforts to investigate my problem.

I hide out-of-stock products from my store surly but I don’t need to set it as no index for google and other search engines or occurring any error in the product schema because I have more than 850 products and the maximum interval to be available again in stock from two to four weeks.

Also, this error just occurs with variable products, in the case of other product types the price is displayed on the product page without any problem even if it is out of stock.

You can make it an option in Woo commerce to display or hide the product price from the product page.

I’m waiting prioritized process to be finished

Thanks again for your support and your explanation

We’re always happy to help. You’ll get an email notification when the issue is prioritized.

    Cheers!
