Great plugin, but loads too slowly

This plugin is just what I was looking for, I just wish it ran faster. I have it setup on my site at: https://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-paleo-recipes/ and it takes about 10 seconds to load for me.

This is my shortcode:
[autonav display=”posts,title,images” postid=”category:recipes” count=”500″ paged=”100″]

I wish to keep 100 posts per page.

Any suggestions on how I can speed it up? Already did what I could with css and images. Or is there any chance of a speedier update in the near future?
