Great plugin, but not flexible enough

This is one the best WP events plugins. I tried all well known plugins, and they all have some pretty serious flaws. When I tried EM I was pretty excited about it. It has many features and settings, and overall the workflow is pretty usable (could be better though). But after some testing I found it has at least two serious shortcomings: both the recurring events management and the bookings management are way to rigid for real live use on a more than very small and incidental scale.

For example the “master event” of a recurring event cannot be changed in any way without deleting ALL bookings that were already made. So even correcting a typo will delete all bookings. So forget about changing times, locations, prices etc in recurring events after bookings have been made. You can detach individual events from a series and alter them without any harm, but in case of many events that need to be edited this will be very annoying and time consuming.
And besides this, there are more aspects of the recurring events system that are just not flexible enough.

Also the bookings management is too rigid. For example you cannot do anyting with a booking besides altering the nummber of tickets. You cannot edit personal data, nor transfer bookings to other dates/times.

When these biggest features would be improved big time, this plugin would be the best one there is. But right now, I cannot give more than 3 stars, even though EM is truly a powerful plugin in features and options. I hope the devs come up with a major update soon!
