Great plugin but slows down website

  • Compfight is the easy way to post Flickr images to your blog with attribution.

    My only problem is that the plugin slows down your blog plus the hosted images on Flickr take longer to load. You can find images on the Compfight website and it just takes an extra 30 seconds.

    If you are building hundreds of image pages and do not create much content, then this plugin is a HUGE time saver.

    Great for:

    – photo blogs
    – image based blogs
    – building resource posts

    Not so great for:

    – content blogs

    You save a ton of time though and can easily search, post and publish images without hosting them!
