great plugin except for the form

  • Like i said i really like this plugin and the way it displays reviews is very nice however the form needs work in my opinion. It seems a bit outdated with its design and it would be much nicer if it used front end validation instead of refreshing the page every time it was submitted. if it wasnt for the form i would have given 5 stars.

    I would certainly agree with you that our form could be displayed in a more modern and interesting manner, however, the relative blandness of our form is a deliberate aspect of the plugin’s design. To make the platform as flexible as possible, all styles, especially front end styles, have been kept to a minimum. This is so that the markup output by Rich Reviews will primarily inherit the styles that are applied by the theme in use in the WordPress installation. Thusly the Rich Reviews form can inherit generic form styles in a similar manner to any other form present on the site.This allows for a more cohesive and brand consistent integration of the Rich Reviews platform into a custom website design. Perhaps in the future, we could provide more intricate form options, so as to optionally apply more modern and dressed styles from the Rich Reviews platform, or elect to apply minimalist styles with intent of applying styles from within the theme. I can certainly see your point, however simply wanted to clarify the intent.

    Furthermore, the ajax submission is coming. That will be our next significant update.
