• I’m not sure why, but when I installed this plugin the “7 day trial” was never spelled out clearly, so tonight when i saw the like buttons had been replaced by links to a developer site (and realized everyone visiting my site saw this too!) it was a bit of a shock.

In fairness, the plugin worked great for me during this 7 day trial period, and it’s rare for something to be coded for bbpress (kudos for that!) but the rude awakening when the trial had expired left me with little interest to upgrade.

Suggestion to the author: don’t create embarrassing links (in the location of every damned button) to your site for the whole world to see when the clock runs out. Instead, put up a gentle “nudge” on your potential new BUYER’S dashboards so we’ll realize it’s time to pay up.

This is not a difficult concept to understand — if you treat your freebie users with respect, they will want to buy your product.

    Thanks!
