The Content Views plugin does a great job of displaying your content how you’d like it to be displayed without getting bogged down in technical issues. Set up the Filter, which determines what content will be displayed, set up the Display, which controls how the content will be displayed and then Show preview to see how it will look on the page. Add it where you want using the Content View shortcode (or add to your theme).
The output “view” is mobile responsive and can be styled with presets and custom controls.
Upgrade to Content Views Pro to get more choice and control if you need too and if you have anything that needs tweaking their support is second to none. I’ve contacted them several times and a workable solution has been provided promptly every time.
