Great Project

  • I think Gutenberg is a great project and in long term it will likely be a great success.
    We are all just very much used for many years to use current editor and probably many fear that their hard work they put in old posts may be lost or all has to be updated.

    But it looks like the Classic Editor could even be well integrated and maintained within Gutenberg as block.

    Don’t get disheartened by the negative comments.

  • Hello @optimiertes, I noticed that Gutenberg adds extra HTML comments to my content code, which will increase the size of database on hosting and cloud. Do you have the same experience?

    Hello @tien-nguyen, yes there are extra WordPress comments (you call it HTML comments) to the content code, but its little compared to all photos and movies in a post. This matters much more and blows your database. The extra WordPress comments do not count really.
