• The plugin takes over admirably for the previous CFDB+ plugin. Simple to use, and does what I need–save all form submissions to a spreadsheet.

  • In layman’s terms, what does that mean? I’m not familiar with all your terms.

    OK. What terms exactly?

The CFDB+ plugin was the previous incarnation of this plugin. What that plugin did (as well as this plugin), is provide you with a way to have all of your contact form submissions saved to a database on your server. So the data from every contact form submitted from your website is automatically saved to a big Excel spreadsheet–one row for each submission–stored on your server (it’s actually a database, and you have the option of exporting it as an easy-to-read Excel spreadsheet). At the end of every week you can download this spreadsheet and simply copy and paste all the data you want into your own files. For example, once a month you can download this spreadsheet, copy every new ‘Name’ and ‘Email’ from the database, and add it to your master email list.
