Great solution to an obvious feature

  • An obvious feature that should be part of the WordPress Core, that is. Why are subheadings not available by default? This question puzzled me. I spent a considerable amount of time poking around the guts of WordPress to eventually realize that basic functionality common sense doesn’t always find its way into software—even software in 2012.

    This plugin makes up for that by adding the much-needed subtitle/subheading/”other field in title” thing to WordPress.

    My only critique is that after a recent upgrade to WordPress, it’s not working any longer. I hope it gets fixed soon!

    Can I ask one small favour? Are you still having issues with both the recent versions of WordPress and SubHeading plugin? If so, is it possible you outline what’s happening?

    Hi, my webmaster installed version 1.7.2.
    As the user, I’m trying to make a post and add subheadings.

    Problem:
    I don’t see how to do it in the post.
    I’ve read all the pages about, and gone to the forum.

    It tells everything but how to insert a post.
    At least what i could find.

    I’m looking in the pull down menu on the post page that has “paragraph” and the other options. Not there.

    If I’m writing a post, how do I insert the subheading?
