• Hi,

Don’t know if you can help me on this one, but I can’t get a static home page to work with my Great! theme (it works with others, but this theme is the one I want to use).

The only way I can seem to display any content on the home (landing) page is if I go to the widget menu & add a site origin editor box to the ‘Front Page’ widget. The trouble is I can’t get this to display exactly as I want & also the yoast SEO doesn’t seem to think there is any content on the page, so I don’t think this is the correct solution!

I created the Home page & added some content using a SiteOrigin editor & SiteOrigin image editor. I then went to the settings/reading menu & selected it as a static front page, & it shows on the pages menu as ‘Home – Front Page’ But if I go to View Page, it only shows the content from the front page in the widget menu & not the page created in the pages menu!

I’ve also opened the ‘customize site’ on the Great! theme page & tried adding the home page in the static page area there too, but again nothing appears on the page. It does say that the theme supports a static front page.

Is there something in wordpress or elsewhere that I’m missing?

I’d be grateful for any help!

    Thanks
