Great theme with great support

  • I saw a couple bad reviews in here, so I felt the need to chime in…

    I think people tend to forget that the developer has a life outside of Decode. He’s a kid, who probably has school work and a social life. He’s not working 40hrs a week on Decode for a living. He’s doing it in his free time, and giving it away, for free. Don’t expect him to drop everything he’s doing and make his theme compatible with some obscure formatting change you’re trying to make. If you think you can do better, teach yourself HTML and CSS and help the dev out, instead of posting here complaining about how poor the support is.

    I’ve been using Decode for a few months now, and like others, have run into my share of issues. Every time I’ve posted in the support forum or messaged the dev, I’ve received nothing but good support and feedback from the both the dev and the community.

    Thank you for the great, free theme and for continuing to support it as much as you can.

    Don’t take the complainers seriously – keep doing what you are doing – and well done. I can think of dozens of other themes (including paid ones) which have given me far more heart ache. I really enjoy how understated and yet functional this theme is. Please keep supporting it. Actually I’m even motivated to flick you some coin as a thank you.
