  • Love this plugin. Used to use EWWW and moved to this one, albeit not free. I also use Kraken pro web interface but not the WP plugin they offer.

    Great to be able to roll back, restore original image or change compression level. Also good it does not take up server resources for optimization, though a bit slow on uploading images than before.

    If you need to upload tens or hundreds of product images in one go best deactivate plugin and reactivate later. I usually put all PNG images through Kraken web interface to turn png32 to png8 lossy without losing quality and then have imagify optimize to normal esp for JPG images, as we need quality for our eCom 3D art niche site.

    Imagify also does a great job for all thumb optimization.
