Greatly Exceeds Expectations

I installed Simply Static with relatively low expectations. Creating a static HTML version of a WordPress site is pretty ambitious, especially if your site uses a lot of plugins that alter the output and third-party fonts, APIs, etc. It took me about 3 tries to get the settings just right but Simply Static blew me away with how well it works, how easy it is to understand and to use, and the site is perfect I found only a single CSS issue on the static version. This gives me a whole new simplified workflow and allows me to use any hosting, not just Managed WordPress hosting (which tends to be very expensive for the good stuff). Security, improved SEO. What’s not to like.
