Images on my site are displaying a green dot in the top left corner. Mousing over them gives details of the image pripeties.

I think it may be connect34e t some additional CSS but am loathe to remove it (and unsure which particular bit of coder may be causing this)/

Any way of fixing this without (maybe) deleting the added CSS?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I can’t see the dot anywhere. Could it be your browser? Have you ever used a different browser? I tested it with Firefox and Chrome on the desktop.

Interesting – shows in Chrome but not Firefox.

    What could be going on?

Start an incognito window from Chrome. None of the browser extensions you use are running there. Does it no longer appear there? Then it is due to an extension you are using there.

Hmmm. has disappeared now in both incognito mode and normal mode.

However I will keep an eye on it. Thanks.

I have established rather serendipitously the cause of this issue. It is nothing to do with browser settings. In fact.

In fact, it was caused by a setting in the jetpack Boost plugin.By setting the Image Guide slider to “Off”, this issue was simply resolved.
