Greeny Child Theme not showing correctly

    Updated a free onetone wp-theme I was working on and somehow the child theme configurator plugin disappeared from the list of plugins installed.
    The child theme remained in place but all the content disappeared from my child theme of course.
    I expect the theme was at fault but strange how your plugin should disappear from the list as well.

    Anyway am completely wiping the server and reinstallng a fresh wp just in case its been compromised. Won’t be using that theme again and mailed them also.

    Anyone able to suggest what may have happened.

    Hi,

    Even if CTC is disabled or deleted, once you create the child theme it will continue to work normally, you just won’t be able to use CTC to edit the styles/files.

    It sounds like the theme update removed more than just theme files, but you should be able to restore from the backup you created before upgrading.
