Greeting users?

    Hi!

    First of all thank you for the great plugin, this is my first day messing around with WP and yours is best i’ve tried so far (and last!).

    I’m creating a notification for new Posts. I would like the email to start with something like:

    Hi [username]!

    etc.

    Is this possible? Every shortcode I’ve tried return the name of the creator of the post rather than the username of the recipient of the email.

    Hi Ben,
    Thanks for your message and your high praise!

    This has been requested a few times and is something i’ve got fairly high-up on the roadmap. It’s definitely getting integrated but it won’t be ready for a few months whilst I add in some of the other requests and improvements that I have in line first.

    Hang tight and look for an update featuring this later this year.
