After upgrading to WordPress 6.0.1, many pages are producing a grey screen. HTML that is generated in cache/page_enhanced directory is missing most of the content. After excluding their paths in Page Cache settings, they work again. Is this a known issue? What is the workaround?

    Hello @wildcurves

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
Have you tried purging the cache and seeing if the problem persists without excluding those pages from the cache?
Can you please also share the website URL and the example of the page you are having issues with?
    Thanks!

    Hi @vmarko

    Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I tried purging cache for those URLs and the issue is not going away.
Here’s an example of such a page:

The only thing that works is adding paths to the list of non-cached pages.

    Hello @wildcurves

    Thank you for your feedback.
Can you please share which version of W3TC you are using and if downgrading to the previous version resolves the problem?
Have you also tried to change the caching method to Disk instead of Disk: Enhanced?

    Thanks!

    Hi @vmarko

The plugin version used was 2.2.4.
I tried Disk Basic page cache instead of Disk Enhanced (with version 2.2.4) and it didn’t solve the problem. Then, I downgraded to 2.2.3 (with Disk Enhanced), and that did not solve the problem either. It’s behaving exactly the same. The main culprit seems to be wordpress upgrade (from 5.9 to 6.0.1), but I did not try to downgrade it. PHP version being used is 7.4 with FastCGI.

    Thanks.

    Hello @wildcurves

    Thank you for the information.
I’ve tried to replicate this but without success. Can you please confirm if the issue persists if you downgrade the WP version?
Are you using any other caching solution like proxy or server-side caching?
    Thanks!
