I received the greyed out dashboard – this time on one of my free plugin sites (I have a mix of free and paid).

You can see a screenshot of the Chrome console log here: https://cl.ly/8db89b80dc42/Image%202019-07-17%20at%201.11.47%20PM.png

In case this was Chrome related, I also reproduced it on Brave, though I realize thats another flavor of Chrome – but with no plugins/extensions to get in the way. That console screenshot is here: https://cl.ly/8edcc3a335ec/Image%202019-07-17%20at%201.21.41%20PM.png

I’m not sure if it is pertinent, but I was unable to upgrade from WP due to an error with a geo database (wordfence/lib/(sorry, I forget the rest), so I downloaded the zip and updated the plugin manually via FTP.

The next time I went into the plugin – I got the grey dashboard (and most of the other pages are greyed out as well).

  • Hey @riffrazor,

It sounds like there might be a conflict either with the theme or one of the plugins you’re using, could you try temporarily switching to a default theme if you’re not already using one and disabling all other plugins then reactivating them one by one to see if the issue persists?

To do so I recommend the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin which allows you to disable all plugins and switch to a default theme, but only for your user.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
