Greyed out media library

  • Hello, I do have a problem with building a website, all the media files regardless of the used Theme are greyed out – no thumbnail and also after placing a photo for instance on the page it is greyed out – sometimes it is visible whilst editing with Elementor but on the preview or live page it is just grey. I’m sorry if I put wrong tags on this topic – kinda new to this.

  • Have a look under Tools > Site Health to see whether there are any anomalies regarding image generation.

    Only one that I think could be related is:
    Loopback queries are used to trigger scheduled events, but are also used by built-in theme and plugin editors to verify code stability. The loopback query returned an unexpected HTTP status code: 405. Couldn’t determine if this would prevent functions from working as expected.
    Other than that – nothing in that regard.

    I use HomeID Theme from themeforest, that uses G5 Core etc. plugins to make it work with Elementor.
