Hi Chandra! First of all, very well done theme. I think this is my favorite one so far.

There is only 1 thing I’m having problems with and thought it would be nice if you can help me.

I’m trying to make a grid for my gallery but no luck. I have both landscape and portrait photos and the thumbnails are squished together. I just want to line them up properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi rikaro,

    Thank you so much.

Thumbnails are sized 248×248. That would make square thumbnails if you have Crop exactly option turned on (just below that thumbnail size option in Settings -> Media). If you uncheck it, it should show you the portrait/landscape images as they are. Perhaps you could try that?

    Thanks,
    Chandra

i have tried and it didn’t work. It looks like this right now:

If anything, i would just like to have them to grid properly instead of having them squished to the left side.

    Hi rikaro,

Have you selected like 4 or 5 columns when publishing the gallery? If you can select 3 columns and see that would be great.

For example, on this page: https://demo.wpshoppe.com/book-lite/appetite-for-stomach/, I have set it to 3 columns and have checked the crop option with 248×248 pixels image. If you have 4 or more columns, WordPress will try to fit the same images on the space which means they will be small and squished.

    Thanks,
    Chandra
