Grid gallery as main page-(Child’s theme)

I have really hit a wall with this. I am not giving up, because there HAS to be a way to accomplish this. If anyone has some guidance,I would greatly appreciate it.I attached a sample of what I want my Main page to look like exactly. The main problem I am having is that, other than in “Gallery”,there are no options, whether it’s creating an archive, product archive,where I can create a 7 column layout of images. Is there a way to maybe put 5 columns then 1,and another separately,as long as it adds up to 7 columns. ‘

I am using Child’s theme,and do not want to change my theme,I just want to make sure I can have the set up shown below, but also be able to link each image to a single product page for purchase,that’s the tricky part.

I know there has to be a way.If anyone has any suggestions,it would same me so much grief. Thank you!!
