• Hi there,

Apologies if I’ve overlooked a configuration setting!

I’m using a Groovy mobile menu (Slider menu submenu opening style).

On the desktop it works as expected:
? Clicking on a menu item directs the user to the appropriate page.
? Clicking on an arrow (caret) displays a sub-menu.

However, on an iPhone 13 using iOS 15.5 (and I’ve also tried this on an older iPhone 8), taps will always display sub-menus. Users need to tap and hold for slightly longer to display the page, but too long and the iOS contextual menu appears. It’s not an ideal user experience. I’ve tried adjusting some of the iOS settings but this doesn’t seem to make a tremendous difference.

Could an adjustment be made so that the only way to launch a sub-menu is by clicking on the caret?
Is there anything I can do myself in order to effect this change? I have a sound understanding of scripting languages.

Note that the site will soon go live as https://www.larshrc.lbhf.sch.uk, at which point I may need to temporarily switch to a “standard dropdown list” as mobile submenus style. However, I suspect that this behaviour is not specific to my site

    Many thanks in advance!
    Best regards!
