Group events by month/year in _archive_

    There is a events group shortcode which lists the events grouped by month/year.
    However, the events should also be grouped month/year on archive page.
    Is this the job of another plugin that can group posts in archive pages, or
    a custom filter for adjusting the query/archive page formatting?

    Edit: And when events group shortcode is used, how can pagination be enabled?
    I guess it makes more sense to use archive instead that already offers native pagination.

    did you find a solution to this? I also need an archive page which shows all past events (how do I do that at all?), ideally grouped by year or month & year. Hope someone can help! ??

    you can also try to use shortcode like [events_list_grouped mode=”monthly” scope=”past” pagination=1] in your WordPress page or post.

    Sorry for late reply, and thanks, @angelo_nwl for the reply – that works more or less like a dream! Do I need to use pagination, or can I have them all in one list? If I just leave that part out of the shortcode it stops somewhere in the middle of the list.
