Group Leader information shortcode

Hello!

We are not programmers, only humble Church volunteers on an extremely limited budget so we can’t really afford custom coding ??

We would like to see if it would be possible for you to show us how to pull some information and display it on a page via shortcode.

We have created information tabs in the course (course description, curriculumn, mentor, forums) where each tab has the relevant information. In the mentor tab, we would like to pull the logged in user’s group leader information (something as basic as the profile pic, profile link and email address). We’ve read that this can be done with a shortcode, but buddypress has no shortcodes. So something like [get-group-leader-info].

If you can help us write a quick function we can stick in our functions.php and call via the [get-group-leader-info] (or whatever) shortcode it would be most appreciated!
