Grouped Product Cloner

  • If I use this plugin and create a Grouped Product, the cloner doesn’t initiate/work on my field group (name + email + phone).

    When I create a simple product, it works fine.

    I edited some code in the JS file to get the cloner to work with Grouped Product but when the order is made, only the first field group (name + email + phone) metadata gets saved and can be seen in the email and when viewing the order.

    And again when I test a simple product, I see all field groups in the email and when viewing the order.

    Is the order metadata saving properly for grouped products?

    And I also noticed that you update the input fields when cloning, such as: <input name=”name_2″> but the label remains <label for=”name_1″>. I updated the code to get this to work in hopes of fixing the order metadata, but it didn’t work.

    Hi, thanks for reporting this.

    I actually tested only for Simple & Variable products. I will test it for grouped as well and try to fix it. will add this to my check list and try to release with the next update.
