    Hi,

    We’re seeing an issue with grouped products when viewing a translation. No errors are being thrown but only the grouped product elements are shown and none of the linked products. I have ensured that each link product has it’s own translation and they all show up when viewing the shop in the desired language, they just don’t appear on the grouped product itself. Any ideas?

    I am using the storefront them, only have translation plugins and WooCommerce installed and everything is up to date.

    Just as a follow up here, this seems to be due to the fact that the translated product does not have the linked products attached as children. So when the template checks whether it needs to pull in the template for the grouped add to cart form it sees no children and skips it. Ideally, this check would be on the main product I believe to ensure the children are always found? Either that or the children would need to be copied over to the translated product. Unsure if that helps at all!

    P.S. The above is found in the woocommerce_grouped_add_to_cart() function.

    And as another follow up (sorry!) I have discovered if you duplicate the grouped product it appears to work as expected.

    Sincere apologies if I missed this in the documentation but I didn’t see anything on this and maybe it should be added in ??

    We used to have this issue a while ago, but it should be fixed for some time since couple of releases.

    Could you verify that you are using the latest WooCommerce Multilingual with the latest WPML?

    I just tried to reproduce the same issue in a clean test setup, but I could not do it.
    I created two simple products and their translations and added them to a grouped product that I also translated.
    In my setup – the original and the translation are visible with no issue.

    This is why I need more details – especially if you are using the latest versions.
    If you wish, you can create a simple screencast with the steps that you take, or open a new ticket in our support forum at wpml.org so that we can check directly on your site or on a staging site that you might have prepared.

    Everything was up to date but this was on my local machine running Local by Flywheel. I have just tested on a vanilla install on WPEngine and I cannot currently replicate so I’ll go ahead and close this.
