    Hello,

After upgrading woocommerce to latest version, all my grouped products are broken.
I have a shop with over 10.000 products, but are grouped into ove 1000 grouped products.

Seems that the grouped products system has been changed in woocommerce and now my shop is all messed up. In previuos versions of woocommerce it was used the post_parent in the child products to assign to a parent product. Now in latest woocommerce its done assigning children products to the Parent grouped product.

If you changed system you should have provided some upgradepath to not mess up all grouped products.

Can you help me fix this big problem?… I don’t see how can I easily edit the 1000 grouped products and assign them its children.. Would take ages.

In the product list in wp-admin I still see the child products linked to its parent.. But its the post_parent relation that doesn’t work anymore.

    Please help me fix this!!

Grouped Products do work differently in 3.0 – though the upgrade shouldn’t have broken existing products. Here’s a good description of how they work now:

seems that the upgrade didn’t do its job and did not fix the grouped products and left them with old system.

Someone has an upgrade path to update them and fix my problem?

    Thanks.

Tk, problem solved, seems that the woocommerce upgrade didn’t do the database upgrade for some reason. I forced the database upgrade with /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&do_update_woocommerce=1 and fixed the problem!!!

    Thanks!!!

I’m glad to hear that the database upgrade solved it! It’ll usually come up as a notification in the dashboard, so I’m surprised that it didn’t in this case.
