Grouped Products Display problem after 3.06 update

    Hello, after updating WC to 3.06, our grouped products are no longer displaying correctly. Formerly, as recently as 3.05, the main product page would show the full name of the child products and correctly link to each child. Now there are the correct number of links showing, but all of them show the name of the main product, and each link is to the main product.

    We’ve been able to roll back to 3.05, and the child products display correctly again, but we need to know how to address this following any update to WC.

  • I’m having the same issue and just posted about it a couple of hours ago.

    I’ve also added a ticket on the Woocommerce support page. Seems like a common problem with Grouped Products.

    Also same issue with child products displaying group parent name. Happily if you select a quantity then the correct product name is displayed and sent to cart.

    Found a temporary fix until Woo Commerce updates. This is errant file yourtheme/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/grouped.php. GitHub has discussion and file fix.(search github woocommerce templates/single-product/add-to-cart/grouped.php) Not sure if I could add hyperlink.

    Save the edited grouped.php file to your child theme using the above path.

    Corrects issue.

    Luckily I didn’t update my main site so I’ll probably wait until the next update as I see many users having the same issue.

    Looks like 3.07, released today, solves the problem for me. Thanks, everybody!
