Groups?

    How does ‘Groups’ work? Is there a way of defining groups or is grouping just by year?

    Also, I’d ideally like to display recent press releases in a front page widget. Can this be done?

    I have a static front page and I’ve pointed the Customise/Static front page/posts page to press-releases, but it doesn’t display anything in the ‘recent posts’ widget. Any solution to this?

    As of of v0.6.0, Display Type “Group” will simply group the posts by year. We do hope to expand this option a little more. Perhaps working with taxonomies. Additionally, maybe an integrated press release widget mighty be nice (we will review this).

    Unfortunately the recent post widget only targets WordPress’ default post type. However you can use another plugin such as Ultimate Posts Widget in order to select the press release post type (nooz_release).

    Maybe you might consider grouping by year in labelled folders? Shortening those lists is always a good thing when a company has a long history.

    So far I like the plugin; I’ll review after I finish implementing.
