Hi. I found your plugin and it saved my butt. Then I updated and it broke. I’m very sad. Here are the details.

    WordPress 4.1.1
    bbp Private Groups 2.5.6
    s2Member paid version 150311
    bbpress 2.5.6

    Group Name Settings tab

I have 4 groups. They are, with my names:

    Group 1 – Students
    Group 2 – Graduates
    Group 3 – Employers
    Group 4 – bbpAdmin

    Assign Groups To Roles tab

How I had it set up and how it was working:

    Administrator – Group4 bbpAdmin
    s2Member Level 1 – Group1 Students
    s2Member Level 2 – Group2 Graduates
    s2Member Level 3 – Group3 Employers
    s2Member Level 4 – no-Group

All other WordPress roles are unassigned to a group.

    Now However I get this:

    Administrator – Group bbpAdmin
    s2Member Level 1 – Group5 Students
    s2Member Level 2 – Group5 Graduates
    s2Member Level 3 – Group5 Employers
    s2Member Level 4 – Group5

What is Group5? I did not create such a thing. At least not knowingly.

When I try to change each role back to the desired group I can make the changes in the drop down box but upon clicking “save changes” the changes don’t actually save and it all goes back to the Group5 settings.

Bug? User error? Nuclear disaster? What’s up?

    Thank you very much.

You should be getting an email with your logon info.

I’m using this site to do a test build for someone else, but turn things on and off as you need to.

If I need to configure the membership levels as they are set up on the other site I can do that. Let me know. I’d simply do it right now except I’m short on time. I gotta be elsewhere very soon….

    Can you resend?

    figures….

I’m sending you an email with logon info.

The credentials you received should work now.

I emailed you directly, but the email just bounced back to me undelivered.

Still my emails to you are coming back as undeliverable. I emailed you from a different address to see if that gets through. Until then…

    Hi Robin…

I’m still baffled – especially since everything you did there worked. I
wonder if it has something to do with registering via the s2Member process?

I’m gonna give you access to the site with the actual problem, take a
look there and see if you are seeing the problem.

Use the same user name and password as I gave you for the test site.

    login here

    https://www.processtechacademy.com/wp-admin

While logged out, create a test user via this link, just put in garbage
for all the fields, that will not mess up anything. delete the user when
    done.

    https://www.processtechacademy.com/ptoa-registration-options/register-student/

At the student level access should be granted to the student forums, but
    not the graduate forums.

Tell me if it really is broken or if I’m doing something wrong….?

thanks – have responded by email as well

    1. Sorry I don’t access live sites. Other moderators/plugin authors have been blamed for crashing live sites, and then received tons of abuse and threats, so it is a policy not to go there! I know both of us are not like that, but I will not risk it !
    2. On the test site I merely used wp-login and created a user in dashboard>users>add new (the latter does ‘registration’ – so proves that works) – can you try these on the test site and confirm that it works for you, then again on the live site where you said it didn’t and confirm that it still doesn’t work, then we’re down to the difference between the two. If it does now work in live, then we’re on to what is different in your registration.

    Then come back
