    I am trying to see if this app will assist us in using it to allow users (Students) belong to a group (schools), what we need is the users only to see the group they are assigned with. They will be creating Hoodies and Yearbooks using the an app either Udraw or WPD (WooCommerce? ?Products? ?Designer).

    Do you know if the app will allow us to create groups and allow the users within the groups, to see what has been created in their group and approve them for download PDF.

    Can anyone assist me in this as looking to get this installed with the other app ASAP.

    Is anyone able to assist me, I am looking to create the above groups in the orders section of the site, can anyone please advise me if it is possible …..

    Hi Lisa,

    Based on what you describe, I think it could be a usable solution for you in general but there might be some areas that wouldn’t be covered. I’m not familiar with Udraw or WPD myself – I just had a quick look at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-products-designer/ and https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/udraw/ …

    Potential problems that you might face is if you want to let group members control the creation of new groups or let them do the membership assignments, at current Groups does not provide such a fine-grained level of control over group memberships so that users would be able to control these without having significant control on Groups’ administrative functions.

    Other than that, I would recommend to have a look at the access restriction capabilities that Groups includes, see especially this section https://docs.itthinx.com/document/groups/access-control/ and its subsections for details.
