Grow Social: Floating and Inline Social Sharing Links not showing on Blog Page

  • Hi,

    I am using Grow Social (v 1.20.2). The Floating Sidebar and Inline Content social sharing links are showing up on every page (including homepage) but just NOT on blog page.

    Page is checked under Post Type Display Settings.

    I am on WordPress 6.0.1 + Bluehost.

    *I can’t provide a link since this website has not launched yet. But, I can provide a screenshot if needed.

    The blog page has been set through Settings –> Reading

    Hey @comparehive!

    Just to be clear, it sounds like the social sharing buttons are showing up on some pages and not others? Without seeing the page it’s not appearing on, it can be hard to say what might be happening here — just out of curiosity are you using any sort of pagebuilder like Divi or Elementor?

    I am just using plain old Gutenberg with the latest Astra theme. I changed to Twenty Twenty and same issue appears. I deactivated all 3 plugins (just Bluehost and Grow Social left activated).

    The sharing buttons don’t show up on the Posts page as set from Settings –> Reading. They appear on every other page and post, even the homepage.

    Thanks so much for getting back to me and thanks for providing those screenshots — they were super helpful!

    It looks like the blog pages you’re referring to are archive/category pages. By default, we don’t place share buttons on these types of pages as readers typically wouldn’t interact with them the same way like they would a typical blog post or page.

    It’s something we may consider adding in in the future but as of right now that’s intentional.
