Grow Subscribe Feature not allowing new subscribers

  • Hi, I’m running the latest Grow (v1.5) on my site. Some readers report that they have not been able to subscribe so I tested it this morning and I, too, can’t subscribe either. The subscribe feature has been working fine on my site for the past 6 months and I have not changed any Grow settings recently. 

    On Safari desktop, I can enter the first name, the email and check the consent box. But the normal pop-up just opens for a fraction of a second and closes itself. I checked that there are no pop-up blockers on Safari that’s causing this. 

    On Chrome, it’s a different error. It won’t let me enter the First Name and Email. I can keep clicking on the First Name and Email boxes and start typing but nothing happens.

    Sorry for the long wait, and thanks for your patience! I see what you mean about not being able to enter any text into the Subscribe forms on Chrome, and it looks like it’s related to something preventing clicks from “focusing” on those input elements.

    I notice that your site is using either a plugin or code that’s making adjustments to click actions, and I wonder if you could try to adjust or outright disable those settings, if we’d see the forms work properly again.
