GRRRRR!!!! I don’t know what I am doing

    I am trying to install WordPress for the first time. I created a database on my hosting account, and I have followed the instructions for changing the wp-config file.

    I dont know if I have the ‘DB_HOST’ correct or not. Does anyone know what it is supposed to be for H-Sphere?

    And then, how on earth do I even login to the WordPress blog?

    I do not know how to help you, but I can tell you that I am having the exact same problem. The download will not take. I have even deleted and re downloaded several times. I have been working and changing my wp-config as well. Nothing changes. Now, I too, am wondering if it has anything to do with my database.

    I really hope that we can get help.

    Most of the time DB_HOST is set to localhost

    If its not working for you when set that way and you are positive you have the database name, and db user and user password set correctly, contact your webhost tech support and ask them what the DB_HOST should be set to.

    You log in at http:/{domain.com}/{folder WP was installed in}/wp-admin

    Thank you so much for responding to our problem. I have literly been on this all day. Almost 24 hours. Can you believe that I just now decided to put in a support ticket. LOL
