    Hi @cadentic1982,

We’re certainly not tax experts here and core WooCommerce doesn’t have a default function to validate GST which I believe refers to Goods and Services Tax in India.

I’ve done a quick search for you and I think the WooCommerce GST Plugin can do the job. It seems to capture and validate GST Number during checkout. You’ll want to reach out to the plugin authors for further information here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woo-gst/.

An alternative would be to hire a developer to implement the functionality your project requires. If you would like to investigate that possibility further, you could reach out to some of the official WooCommerce development partners via the link below.

    hi

it’s too much module / plugin-based. I am with the self-hosting side don’t want to pay yearly basis to such plugins.

also, all those plugins are created hooks, etc which connect to outside the hosts and it makes our platform less secure.
    thx

    hi

that plugin won’t work with multi step slikypress plugin. it removes gstn fields completely. as per new govt norms gstn can be collected over 2000 INR transactions.

    thx
