Gt Matrix says slower when litespeed is activated

    I installed and went through the setup for minyfing and so on and my score was better than before I installed litespeed. But I now notice that when litespeed is deactivated my GT matrix score is higher than with it on.
    I get this notification in my WP dashboard when I activate litespeed

    Purged all caches successfully.

    ERROR 9010: Failed to back up .htaccess file, aborted changes.

    Please add/replace the following codes into the beginning of /homepages/25/d717703702/htdocs/app730209136/.htaccess:
    # BEGIN NON_LSCACHE
    ## LITESPEED WP CACHE PLUGIN – Do not edit the contents of this block! ##
    ## LITESPEED WP CACHE PLUGIN – Do not edit the contents of this block! ##
    # END NON_LSCACHE

    I do not know what all that means.

    Hi,

    Did you have anything that locks .htaccess from being edited ?

    it looks like LiteSpeed Cache plugin failed to write its rules into that file
