Should I create a new property?

    Hi,

    I had previously a UA and Gtag working in the website.

    Under Settings > Analytics I see the property selected is a UA.

    beneath that I also have a GA4 property selected.

    Should I uncheck “Place Universal Analytics code”?

    Hi @yano23,

    You can place a Universal Analytics (UA) property if you wish, however, data is no longer recorded against your UA property. Based on this you can certainly toggle off the option for Site Kit to place the Universal Analytics code if you wish.

    I’m also happy to confirm that your GA4 snippet is placed and recording if you’d like to share your site URL or your Site Health information.

    I actually know it’s been gathering data ok, just wasn’t sure about the UA code. So no need to check.
