    Hello, some of our products do not have a GTIN, will this plugin still work and be useful for us?

    For some products we have a UPC, but others do not.

    Absolutely! The GTIN feature is completely optional. You’ll still get the customer reviews, but not specific product reviews.

    If I have a UPC for a product, do you recommend I enter it into the GTIN field?

    I am still struggling with setting this up, maybe you can help.

    In the merchant center it says “Your account isn’t currently eligible for Product Ratings. The star ratings won’t appear on product listings when an account is inactive.”

    I only set this up on Tuesday, so I am wondering if it just takes time for Google to update the Merch Center, or if I am doing something wrong.

    Thank you! I’m glad you like our plugin.

    Yes, UPC is one of the codes that is considered a GTIN.

    I’m not sure about the message in your Google Merchant center. It might be that it will take some time to get the account approved and active, or it might be referring to the fact that you will need to collect enough product reviews in order for them to start displaying them.
