GTIN Not Displaying with variable product

    So i configured the pluging and all seams fine however the GTIN number is not displaying on the product detail page. Please note this is a variable product with size and colour options. The GTIN number in the plugin is set to GTIN (array) and I have checked I populated each variable combination with its own GTIN number. However when I view it it says: GTIN: Array or its just blank.
    Any tips?

    ok so it looks like the field picked in the plugin settings is looking at the “PRODUCT GTIN field” and not the product “variations GTIN field”. The “variations GTIN field” doesn’t get listed as an option in the product settings page. Can someone help.

    Thanks for bringing these issues to my attention. I found the problem where the array of variation GTINs were overriding the product GTIN with “Array”. I fixed it in version 2.6.8.

    Your other point about wanting variation GTINs to show on the product page, I’m not seeing a way to do that because the meta field that shows categories, tags, and GTINs are product based. The only thing that changes with variations is the image and price.

    Rest assured, if you purchase a variation, the code that sends the GTINs to Google will have the variation-specific GTIN.

    ok. we’ll have to live with out the GTIN displaying. Thanks so much for the fix.

    To confirm what field do I pick in the dropdown on the setting page to allow the variations GTIN to be used? the default one??

    Yes, you had the correct one.

    Oh, I forgot to mention that you will need to re-enter the SKUs for products that got replaced with “Array”.

    ok so to confirm.. I entered all the GTIN number at the VARIATIONS level and never entered a GTIN on the INVENTORY TAB. It looks like ARRAY has been added to GTIN on the INVENTORY TAB. Should I remove the word ARRAY from all products and leave it blank?

    If you only have variable products and only provide GTINs on the variation, then just uncheck the box to show the GTIN on the product details page. It doesn’t need to display.
