GTIN – Use existing data

    We are looking to see if this plugin will meet our needs.

    If we already have a GTIN field specified for each product / variation, is it possible to use that existing field data instead of using the field generated by this plugin?

    I’d prefer not to have to duplicate data into the GTIN field you provide.

    If your GTIN data is stored as post meta for your products or variations, then yes! You can choose your existing post meta key to use.

    If your GTIN data is stored in the form of attributes, that is not yet supported, but on the roadmap.
