• Hi there,

I really hope you are able to help – please!

I have a site with Gravity Forms installed. The forms contain conditional logic fields. If I use the GTM for WordPress plugin to install Google Tag Manager, then the conditional login in those forms does not work.

Do you have any idea why this might be the case? These are both widely used plugins and I can’t find anything on Google about this kind of conflict.

I have tried on multiple hosts, with two different themes and it still does the same thing.

I realise this is not an issue with your plugin, but I was really hoping you could perhaps provide some insight? I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks so much.

    Hi,

I checked your site and when I select “yes” from the “Have you owned your own business previously” dropdown, I can see the the question “In what industry was this business?”

    Perhaps it is working now?

    Hi Thomas.

Thank you so much for your response.

The form is working now, but the Google script is not. The Google Tag Manager ID is implemented through your plugin, but its not firing correctly, so its not tracking what it is supposed to.

I have no idea why its not working as expected.

If I insert the code manually into the header.php file (without using your plugin), then the forms don’t work.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you use GTM4WP to inject the container code but you enter a fake GTM ID (like GTM-XXXXX) instead of your real ID, what happens?
