GTM / GA is not registering anything

    Hi Thomas,

    Sorry to bother you again.

    Since yesterday, GTM / GA is not fireing.

    I have changed nothing I can think of that can cause this issue.

    I have checked the header.php and the code is still there.

    I am using woocommerce, but due to errors with 2.6.x, I am still on 2.5.x. I have enhanced woocommerce enabled in your plugin. Until a few days ago, everything still was working fine though…

    I am working with the Storefront theme. There has been an update in the theme last week, but as I said, I added the code snippet in header.php again after the opening <body> tag.

    Could you please help me checking what is going on?

    suddenly since last week it’s not firing anything and analytics says no information is flowing.

    The Google Tag Manager recording seems to be firing properly…but the analytics says its not receiving any info.

    Any idea why?

    Hi Johson,

    I checked your site and as far as I can see your GTM tag is working properly and your GA tag as well. If you check this with Google Tag Assistant, you should be aware that with larger products lists, the GA tag switches to a data send method witch Google Tag Assistant can not properly track. This does not mean that your GA is not working.

    @offcyclers – the same applies for your site as well.

    I am sooo sorry to have bothered you with this. I thought I had marked this thead as solved already…

    Only a few days after I started this thread, the problem was resolved. I don’t know what was the problem and also not what solved it. Only that there were a lot of updates for plugins and the theme. I re-added the code and at first it was not working, but after a few days, it was solved.

    Don’t know what happened there.

    But I’m sorry I have bothered you with this and that I forgot to update and mark this topic as resolved.

    Thank you for your help as always….
