GTM4WP Basic Data in GA4?

  • We are using GTM4WP to track author, category, and post date info in Google Data Studio via GA3, and now I am trying to do the same for GA4 as we prepare to make the dreaded move. I have been trying but I guess I do not understand how to apply this information (gtm-author… etc) to GA4. I have followed the steps at GTM4WP v1.12 – Google Analytics 4 tracking is here – Google Tag Manager plugin for WordPress but I do not use WooCommerce or need ecommerce events, I need the “basic data” to be included in GA4 so I can build reports using the author, category, and post date data in GDS. Can you point me to where I can learn how to do that? I have been digging but unable to get this figured out so far.
