GTM4WP breaks google analytics for woocommerce plugin

  • I am using google analytics for woocommerce plugin for ecommerce tracking and GTM4WP for other events. But after activating the plugin and add “g tag” on GTM, all the ecommerce event stop hitting to GA4. Those events did appear in gtag API but there is no hit occur according to tag assistant.

  • I don’t think it’s a good idea using both the plugins.

    If you use tag manager you should add the Google Analytics tag and remove the google analytics integration for woocommerce.
