GTmetrix and PageSpeed scores different

Here is the PS recommendation for you, so yeah it says “Compressing and Resizing” for all the images to improve the score.

So, for the above image the size required over here is not more than 300×300 ( Seems to be different for other images on same page), but the site loads a version which is double in dimensions. So if you’re using a custom theme, you can probably register a new size ( something like 400×400, for the thumbnails that are being displayed on the homepage.

That’d help you serve smaller images and with the Pagespeed score as well.
